WERA President Nominated Representative to University of Santiago External Advisory Commission

WERA is proud to announce that Teresa Bracho will be the WERA President Nominated representative to University of Santiago  External Advisory Commission.

Other members on the External Advisory Commission include Dr Gonzalo Jover Olmeda (President of the Spanish Association of Pedagogy (SEP) and Dr Jesus Salinas Ibáñez (the State Network of Educational Research Institutes/ Red Estatal de Institutos de Investigación en

Educación).

Bracho is a researcher focussed on the evaluation of social and educational policies and a former Councilor (2013-2019) and President (2018-2019) of the Inter-agency Network for Education in Emergencies, as well as Past WERA Council Member (2012-2019).

Bracho is tasked with:

  1. Advising the Governing Board and Director of the Institute on the thematic definition and orientation of research to be carried out at the Institute;
  2. Assisting the management and Governing Board on the evolution of research, the centre and the transfer of research results;
  3. Periodically evaluating the scientific activity of the groups and researchers linked to the Institute, and issue the corresponding evaluation reports; and
  4. Sharing information to link researchers to the Institute.
