WERA holds Symposium, WERA President Gives Keynote Address in South Korea

WERA Sponsors Invited Symposium at KERA Conference in Seoul

The World Education Research Association (WERA) sponsored an invitational Symposium at the Korean Educational Research Association’s (KERA) annual conference on October 29 at Hanyang University in Seoul, Korea. The theme of the KERA International Conference 2010 was “The Educational Innovation for the 21st Century: Sharing Visions and Experiences.” The WERA Symposium, “High-Impact Innovation that Changes the Ways of Schooling. A Global Perspective,” was chaired by Jung-Ho Yang (Sunggunkwan University, Korea), and featured  Eric Mangez (Universite Catholique de Louvain), Herbert Altrichter (Johannes Kepler University, Linz, Austria), and Luis Moreno-Armella (Cinvestav-IPn, Mexico). Discussants were Ee Gyeong Kim, ChungAng University and Young Hwa Kim, Hongik University, Korea.
