WERA Sponsors Symposium at ECER 2010 in Helsinki

An invitational symposium sponsored by WERA, “A Global Society; Implications for Education and Educational Research,” was held at the European Conference on Educational Research 2010 in Helsinki, Finland on August 26, 2010. http://www.eera-ecer.eu/ecer/ecer2010/

Chaired by Theo Wubbels, Utrecht University, and a member of the WERA Council, the WERA symposium included Beatriz Álvarez González, Faculty of Education, Spanish National University of Distance Education; Martha Montero-Sieburth, Institute for Migration and Ethnic Studies, University of Amsterdam; and Ingrid Gogolin, Universität Hamburg and Immediate Past President of WERA.
